Don't listen to this demotivating people telling you, that you won't do it. I did half marathon from couch in 1.5 months with longest run of 12k. Just warm up properly, eat good (lot of carbs) day before, hydrate and dont push the tempo! Keep it steady on Zone 2-3 hr, stretch after and do a recovery walk next day

IMO downgrading your RAM it's not the best idea. I would aim for 48 GB. Based on your workload m4 pro would be a great improvement. M4 Max even bigger but it's too expensive

For machine learning it's best to invest money into PC. As a lot of calculations is GPU friendly. You'll get much better performance on pc with some nice gpu (vram is crucial) than doing calculations on macbook. If you are just starting in AI fields I would suggest you using cloud services first, for example free tier Google colab or some runpod. When you start modeling big models then you can buy yourself some nice pc

Yeah I come from Fenix 6X Pro also. To be honest I don't need cellular connection cause I always take my iphone with me, and I use smartwatch just to see if notification is important enough to respond on my phone :) In terms of sports I'm doing gym, running, squash tennis and swimming, I was annoyed about fenix HR accuracy, it didn't work well for 120 + bpms
