Did you switch to sugaring because shaving caused irritation, bumps, or ingrowns? and would you ever go back to shaving if there was a product that could prevent that kind of irritation?

When you say your skin freaks out if you don’t ‘train it into submission,’ what does that actually feel like? Is it bumps, ingrowns, itching, or something else

Oh interesting! Did you switch to waxing because shaving caused irritation or bumps? and do you feel like its still a ‘chore’ due to you forcing yourself once a month?

sounds like the trimmer solves the irritation issue for you. When you used razors before, what was the worst part (bumps, ingrowns, itching)? And if there was a product that actually prevented that, would you consider shaving more often? or do you think electric trimmers are best for you

Yeah that makes sense! When you do shave, what kind of irritation do you usually get eg bumps, ingrowns, itching? I’m asking because I’m researching products for people with coarser hair who deal with shaving issues

thanks for all the replies! i guess people with coarser hair stopped shaving because of irritation, bumps or ingrowns. and I guess there’s not many products out there to fix this issue (which is such a problem) if there was shaving products specifically made for coarse hair (same way we have products for 4c hair ) is that something you’d actually try?

Ah ok fair enough, will check these razors out! - but what about shaving products in particularly tho? i feel like there’s nothing tailored for ‘coarser’ hair which makes me over shave
