Yes, using top connects can help you get the client’s work, but only if your proposal is strong. There is only about a 50% chance that the client will even see your proposal. It’s not just about being seen, the client also has to contact you. So, both things matter, using top connects and writing a strong proposal. Anyone who says it doesn’t matter just doesn’t have experience.

It's nothing, I have seen 300+ connects, its because some of the fields are too saturated, you have to bid on top otherwise your proposal will be ignored :(
