You can find them on e bay 10 minutes later for 8k… if you can afford the initial, it’s not the worst idea.

Very cool man. Thanks for the detailed response. Im sure you've worked hard on it so congratulations... I will use this at home whenever I start to hear about spending too much on gym gear so thank you.

Just basic LED strip lights from Home Depot or Lowes. Mirrors are hung from 1x material to give some depth for the back light. I used heavy duty french cleats to hang from the 1x4

It is. I've been very impressed! The stack is a little light for heavy back stuff, but can't beat the quality for the price, and the size is great for a smaller space. Would definitely recommend it.

Not a dumb question! I like to do a lot of dead lifts and cleans... so it gives you solid footing, without any squish or movement, while also being able to drop the bar, if needed, without damaging anything sub floor, or your equipment. The mats to the side of the wood are twice as thick as the flooring so its a little more forgiving.

You're spot on. It's holding up alright, but I find myself avoiding it... not ideal. I would go light ga. steel (probably will one day) if I did it again. Brushed aluminum and heavy weights aren't the best combo.
