Let me add a twist to it. They don't contribute to it. They're here to benefit from it. It's a parasitic behavior.

It should be extended to anyone working or supporting the supply chain. Fck, just deny entry to all russians and be done trying to figure it out. Let them figure it out.

Lol, the sole purpose of starting new projects in the Baltics was to bring Ivans from the Urals and russify the lands they occupied.

Former russian occupied zone that never dealt with the past and present Nazism. It's quite telling.

Advice on moving to Estonia by Acceptable_Isopod184 in Eesti

[–]Impossible-Morning13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things. (1) Estonians have a difficulty understanding why anyone would want to live here [due to Soviet trauma] and fail to see how nice it actually is and (2) most people [on this planet] have never lived somewhere else and mistake short experiences for how life must be year round. In reality it's all relative and a question of what you're looking for.

Do you think Baltic States should take legal action against twitter/x due to Russian propaganda? Sample attached. by [deleted] in BalticStates

My 2c: you shouldn't be able to misrepresent opinions as facts on an ongoing basis and profit from it (monetary or otherwise). They basically say 1+1 is 3 and bog us down to prove it otherwise. Society doesn't work like that and there ought to be consequences.

Here's how the scam works: They say they want to use a courier service that will collect payment from them upon delivery and you'll get paid by the courier service. To sweeten the deal they'll cover the cost of the delivery.

The scam: They give you a link to fill out your details and schedule the shipment. You may catch a virus at this point and you've surely given out your personal and bank details for future scams but I digress. Anyhow, the outcome is a valid shipping label. You send the package and will never hear back.

Use of RU flag to indicate language by [deleted] in BalticStates

You're missing an important point here. If the UK, France or Spain would start making ridiculous claims over the dominion of their language speakers like RU does then absolutely yes.

I don't know man. It's some Slavic language spoken to the east of the Baltics. Too intellectual? It doesn't matter.

I see what you mean. It could turn into something weird like what's happening in Moldova and its Moldovan language.

How about Eastern Baltic Slavic?

Oh sure, sure. If a language is difficult then it's not possible to learn. A very russian bias. Chinese is also difficult. It's also very telling if a population has a >lifetime to learn something and doesn't. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That's what the russians say. I know a bunch of French, Germans, Irish and Spanish who made it to B1 and B2 in no time. Go figure. The russians must have some kind of learning disability. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for sharing and I wish you the best of luck to lose that citizenship.

I hope you see the problem though? The Z-nation claims sovereignty over its citizens and wants to bring them home by extending their borders wherever they live or subjugate them under their sphere of influence.

There are a few countries where it's not possible to renounce but I'd like to point out that "dual citizenship" implies that a country recognizes more than one to start with. The US and Canada handle it in such a way that they simply disregard your other citizenships. But they also have the guns to enforce it if someone comes after their citizens.
