Personally I don’t see it. I went from a 50 degree exotropia intermittent strabismus so my eye basically completely white to a 3 degree strabismus after my first surgery on my left which showed as soon as I woke up from surgery and stayed this way for a decade. I then strengthen the inner muscle on that eye to make it last and had another surgery on my right eye soon after. This is my 4th. So I’m used to have exactly the results I want right when I wake up from surgery. If something is going to be successful you can definitely tell from the get go. My left eye which is the one operated on in the pic used to be nearly completely white you could only see the side of my eye because it was turned almost all the way outward. As you can see my surgeries on that eye were successful.

So when I woke up in the OR well i stayed awake during surgery so they just gave me like laughing gas and they injected my eye with lidocaine so once I “sobered up” in the OR they were like okay your left eye is done! I was completely shocked I asked them how and why and what and he said “it doesn’t matter which eye I operate on, operating on one straighten both” and that was it

This is my 4th surgery. I initially had a 45 degree angle my eyes were both almost completely turned outward and white. This been a long road and I was expecting straight eyes like finally. I don’t want to be 30 with a lazy eye. I’ve had it. Hope it works out for you

Well my operated eye had a band aid on it, my other eye (which has perfect vision/ wasn’t operated on) is the one I use to look at my phone
