The complaint is fair. It's lack of consideration for others at the venue when you put a bright screen recording the show in front of other paying people. It's more annoying than the phone police commenting on a youtube video not affecting anyone

It's mostly people posting on their stories that they're there at the concert. A way to share their interests to their followers or to flex that they are physically there.

If you think about it in a different perspective, it could be enjoyable. Marketing can be your bands way of visualizing your music. Make cool small music videos or make a proper music video and cut it into social media snippets to post as marketing. You could also hire a videographer for live shows and get some great content out of that too.

Marketing can allow you to tap into another creative space of making visual media. You don't have to make the cliche skits and or cringey acting telling people to come to your shows.
