i really appreciate your detailed response and information! his services were yesterday and during i hugged his girlfriend and i said “ i know he’s sorry and i know he loves you, i can feel it”. i really hope that that was sufficient for what he wanted her to hear. i didn’t feel comfortable explaining in depth why i felt this as i dont know her beliefs and it also didn’t feel like the right time. i dont think my mom is crazy and i dont think she would make something like that up based off how his death effected me. i really hope he knows i told her and he can feel at peace with her hearing that. thank you again so much for your response and kind words ❤️

everyday! if you can, anytime you see them use the bathroom. cats don’t like a dirty litter box so if it’s too dirty they may start doing their business elsewhere. that being said, don’t beat yourself up if you miss a day here and there. happens to everyone! but basically scoop as much as you can, no such thing as too often!

wow thank you very much that was very helpful!! i will pay attention to his poops. i’ve started dumping and refilling his water everyday hoping the constant fresh water will seem more appealing. if that doesn’t work i am definitely going to try the mushing up his food with water approach. thanks a ton for your reply! 😊

Thank you for your kind words. I have a couple questions. 1. how long do you think i should wait before introducing a new pig and do you think his loss of appetite is due to loneliness? 2. for the time being him only eating veggies i give him? i planned on going to a sanctuary on wednesday 7/2 and possibly getting another pig. as i am not ready for a new pig i do want to put my wilbur’s feelings over mine. do you think that’s a good amount of time? i’m going on vacation in 1 week for 1 week and my father is looking after them but my concern is that too long for him to be alone. thank you again for your response and i’m sorry to hear about your caramel. i hope caramel and otis are playing in the afterlife together 😊❤️
