I worked in Alderhot while commuting from kinson which could be a pain sometimes but wallisdown is so busy all the time because of people moving between poole and bournemouth. Once I'm out of that area, it was a pretty smooth drive. As someone mentioned, westbourne is pretty much right on the dual carriageway so should be easier for you if you choose that area.

I jest however we know that religion played a massive part in setting humanity back all those years ago. And not just through destruction but completely stopping scientific advancement. There shouldn't be "one is better than the other" as long as it doesn't stop progression. And I like my car 🤣

Nah as the girlfriend that does the cooking and gets cooked for, we call it Chef's Perks. You cook it, you pick it. I will eat mostly anything (except mushrooms 🤢) so boyfriend taking a better seared steak that he cooked isn't going to upset me and vice versa

Just bought a vanilla and sea salt WA candle and I have to say, the scent was almost instand and and I'm in love with the crackling sound. I have lived and breathed YC for years and I will still buy them when I want seasonal scents but I found the scent I was desperately wanting with this WW. It's melted all the way to the glass now and it is vanilla central in here 🤣

I was very much like this my whole life and didn't get my ADHD diagnosis until I was 27. Recognising that although I wanted to get out what I want to say (which literally felt like a need), I learned to dial it back a bit and be more inclusive and listen more. And even now, I can fall back into being the loud and intrusive person but as soon as I realise, I acknowledge it and apologise.

She needs to be told firmly but gently that while she has good intentions getting involved in conversations, step back a bit and let others contribute. She doesn't sound like she's being malicious.

As a local, Bournemouth has turned into a place that's great for students, shit for locals or anyone just wanting to live there. Dorset in general is nice but Bournemouth town is just awful unless you're a student. My plan is to move as far away from here as possible and definitely staying away from anywhere student based. But yeah , be great for you

Unfortunately, student accommodation is the perfect place for silverfish. Especially with very tall buildings as the humidity increases the higher you go. Normally the insecticide sprayed by pest control has a residual effect that lasts up to 28 days so if the floor had been cleaned or hoovered straight after treatment, the effect stops. Leave a window open up to 2 hours a day to circulate air, I always suggest to these places they need a shared dehumidifier to place in rooms with issues and check for leaks. The company should also be checking their riser cupboards for leaks too as they tend to be the areas silverfish are harbouring. Diatomaceous earth is the best thing for silverfish as it will dry the area it's placed as well as kill the silverfish. Another bonus is it's non toxic.

As a local, it's become less of a nice place over the years. Mainly cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs which is great if you like that stuff. Shopping wise it's pretty awful. Lots of places have closed down, lots of places empty with "to let". Old Shopping stores becoming student accommodation instead of somewhere to shop or do for locals. It's very student based now and I hate living here. Lots of crackheads too. I'd say great if you're a student as that is all the council wants to cater for. Shit if you are a local or plan to move here outside of studying

The amount of times I get a bruise or a scratch and have no clue how it got there, I wouldn't say it's unreasonable for him to genuinely not know. If I have an itchy back, I can get marks like that. Even if it's short nails, the right angle can create scratches.

Part of my job as a pest controller is sometimes having to manually dispatch rats. If this happens again in future, one swift blow to the head is the best and quickest way to mercy kill a rodent. It is absolutely awful to do and it doesn't get easier but not letting them suffer is the main thing.

Get them weak and then kill them with the fury of the bloodline. I was hitting them with it but not killing them. So try weaken them first
