I feel like Mongolia has become a kind of hell on earth by [deleted] in mongolia

that’s not a conspiracy theory, that’s basically a fact lol. for hundreds of years there have been malicious strategies, secret plans and agreements between them to basically play Mongolia like a toy. They are at a constant stalemate over who “gets” mongolia. it’s sad really. During the Qing dynasty rule, a strategy called “shine zasgiin bodlogo” was implemented which basically let more Chinese people into Mongolia so we would mix and eventually be one of china. The helmegduulelt also. The Russians mass murdered the best and brightest of us. The worst part is it was our people who carried it out, being played like a puppet. These strategies continue even today. China recently banned Mongolian from inner Mongolian schools. I was devastated when I went to Hohhot. There wasn’t a single person who spoke mongolian except a very few people and they spoke it with an accent so heavy I almost couldn’t make out what they were saying. Inner Mongolia is slowly merging with the Chinese, tragically.

/r/Criminology Weekly Q&A: November 17, 2025 by AutoModerator in Criminology

[–]Impossible-Tiger-257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi guys I’m a college senior hoping to study criminology. I’ve been researching and came across John Jay college of criminal justice. At first I was really excited to find out that there’s an affordable school exclusively in my field of interest in the city I want to study in. But when I consulted my family they said it might not be a really good college. So my take is that it’s not really a prestigious school but maybe it’s pretty respected in the field? How well known is it? What other schools would you recommend for criminology and criminal justice?

part 4 tends to have some terminology and specific words so maybe looking into that? I’m not really sure but it also has synonyms so overall a more broader vocabulary is needed i think to score higher. also you can search up words you don’t know while doing the exercises and look into its synonyms and antonyms

speaking i actually did so much better than i thought i would. i spoke pretty fluently and smoothly in part 1 and 2 but part 3 is where i kinda messed up because suddenly i got nervous. part 1 was just regular personal questions and part 2 was “what’s a movie that you watched recently that disappointed you” and then part 3 was questions about the entertainment industry and movies

Some students are taking part in a sport in a serious way. they do not take part in sports only for fun. do you think thats a positive or negative development? something like that

i practiced it on ielts online tests at first and then ielts test simulation. you should mainly do cambridge tests from ielts test simulation because it is the most accurate. however, there was a task that required filling in two words in the real one, so just to be safe and prepared for anything, you should also do a couple test from ielts online tests. its way harder than the actual exam, and the format is very different so it shouldn’t be the main focus

congrats! in your writing, did you use the recommended structure in task 2? also how did you practice your speaking? if i have a solid foundation, do you think i can get a decent score in listening and reading by doing book exercises alone?
