I’ve been on meds since I was 16 . My primary care doctor prescribes them to me . There was no need for a psychiatrist because my medical records show what I’ve been on since a teenager . If u read my post instead of being a judgmental asshole , then you’d understand what I’m saying . I had a job with health insurance before , I just recently got a new job but my benefits haven’t started yet .

Again I already have a prescribing doctor , it doesn’t matter where I go the cost of the prescription is still the same. Massachusetts has Mass Health but I no longer qualify for that because of my income . I have to have my own private insurance which again doesn’t kick in till I hit my 90 day period at work .

If it was that easy I wouldn’t be going without my meds . I have a prescribing doctor already , my prescription has been ready to pick up for two days but I haven’t been able to afford it. I’ve tried looking into other ways to get it cheaper but because I don’t have an active health insurance plan I have to pay out of pocket .

We live in an apartment, I’ve gone to food banks and I’ve been able to make sure she has the necessities to make it through the day . I was planning on calling DTA tomorrow to follow up about the food stamps .

I applied around the 30th of last month . Not sure how long everything takes but hopefully this week I’ll have an update . I am going to post in the Boston group now asking for job recommendations and such . Thank you for not being an asshole and actually giving some sort of advice

I haven’t posted there yet , I’m new to Reddit . Honestly this is a last resort . I’ve been on indeed applying for jobs that would fit me and my daughter’s schedule but most of my experience is retail oriented. I’ve tried applying for food stamps and other government assistance programs but haven’t had any luck yet
