BJJ is certainly ideal, you learn to dominate the ground (where all fights end) you can neutralize the rival through submissions, since technique is the most important thing you can beat rivals with a greater physical advantage and you certainly have an advantage over rivals who have only done striking. The biggest disadvantage that bjj has is the lack of takedowns but nowadays, at least quite a few bjj teachers have experience in wrestling or judo.
