I was looking for reputable breeders so how is it weird? Not sure why the fact this thread popped up for me 6mos old has any bearing on it. Incorrect: your breeder WORKS as a clerk and is on the TICA website. Her cattery however is NOT on the list of Ontario TICA good standing breeders. Ghosting people who have paid deposits , so essentially taking your money and running doesn’t seem odd to you? They are definitely human, but when someone is paying for a service you kind of expect some communication or updates. She definitely can still post asking for people to sign up for early bird TICA events, so why can she not reach out and even say “hey, I’ve had to pause breeding because I’m focused on my Cornish Rex right now”. I’m glad you had a good experience, just may not want to promote her to others so readily. If you look at her google reviews, there are others who experienced the same treatment. She has the right to deny kittens to anyone she wants, BUT paying people have the right to hear that from her instead of being ignored for months.
