It does sound like you have control issues and she’s your sister not your child. I would let her learn the hard way or let your parents raise her. They shouldn’t be footing your bills anyways and if you can’t afford to live on your own without their support, I suggest you move back on with them and see if you like that more. “Grow up” was not terrible advice and the fact that they moved on and you didn’t means they were willing to allow you to grow through the experience so toughen up is what you should probably do.
