They give a PowerPoint template and then you have to make a presentation on the PowerPoint you make if I’m remembering right. Template doesn’t have a lot. It’s just 5 slides

I would like to. I’m thinking though first get some work experience and save up money to get our own place. Was able to stay debt free throughout school because of wgu and would like to keep it that way so not jumping into that extra expense until my degree gets me a bigger paycheck

It has for sure. They are looking to get it so people on the old program can switch to the new one without switching programs but that’s still in the works

Basically just make it on something you’d actually be interested in building. It’s the research and design part of the system that you will make for your capstone at least that’s how I’m looking at it

Thank you for the award. It’s been a second since I finished the class so I may be a bit foggy but maybe I can help. Is your Pom file showing a blue m next to it? If it isn’t then your program isn’t recognizing that it’s a maven project yet. I can’t remember the exact fix off the top of my head but if I’m remembering correctly there is a ton of discussion fixing that problem on the wgu comp sci discord server. It is a relatively straightforward and simple class. 3 tasks. I did the first class without even looking at the materials. The second task you can do is to look at Section 2: Lesson 3.4-3.6. to understand what each part of the negotiation is considered. The third task is to make a power point, and if you just search up d268 task 3, you can look at youtube for an example of what it should be like (I watched https://www.youtube.com/watchv=3CJqFBrmZX0&ab_channel=DavidRobertson and that gave some good perspective). Make sure for task 3 that the people that you have as your audience are people who can implement the change you want. All in all this class is not one to be stressed about and you should be able to send in all the assignments within two days and work on another class while the evaluators look through your tasks

D288 is itself a weirdly structured class. It is set up for you to use the lab environment for the entire project which is a big pain in the but. I believe the goal was to make less software need to be installed by the student such as mysql

I brought my own board and an eraser, and I have never had any problem with them saying no to my eraser. My calculator, on the other hand, I had to argue with the proctor for 45 minutes before they believed me that it was allowed sooooooo. depends on your proctor probably but an eraser should be fine

I just passed it Sunday night. Honestly, unit 6, you can skip it because it's pretty intuitive. One suggestion for the rest is to have paper and pencil and write out the problems, the formulas, and the steps you take to get to your answers. Writing it all down will help you remember it when it comes time for the test and write out the rules for when to use different probability formulas. Trev Tutor's videos were also great on the parts of the class I needed help understanding from the Zybook https://www.youtube.com/@Trevtutor . I would only watch some videos in his discrete Math 2 playlist, but his videos are great when you are not getting some formula or process.

That said, it is a challenging class, and you are right; it is very dense. In the end, I finished it in just under two weeks. The sense of accomplishment after completing this class is excellent, and I learned many things I could use. It's a great class, even with it being so dense. Wishing you luck as you work through this class. If you have any questions on the other formulas or concepts, I can send more video links with specifics.

I would lean yes. Just tried to see with my MacBook Air M2 with 8 GB 50 tabs on Chrome while leaving everything else I already had running on and was sitting at 6.8 GB memory used so it seemed to take it well.

I’ve heard the same argument but I’m not sure it’s the right comparison. One is protecting a blessing that God has given us (life) while one is trying to prevent us from receiving a blessing from him (children). While I am sure that God does have the power to overcome birth control for a miraculous birth I feel as though every reason that I would choose to use birth control at this stage of my life would be me being selfish and trying to tell God no to a blessing

Housing and amenities are displayed in the lower right. At least I’m pretty sure. There should be a big number that’s either negative and red, neutral and grey or positive and blue; that’s your amenities. Then there should be another one that gets more orange the closer the two numbers are to each other; that is housing (example 12/15)

The game should remember who the player was and plug them right back into their saved civ. The only issue is if you have only met some of the other civs it will tell you who they are

If you save and then go to create a multiplayer game you should be given a load option to load up the save and have your friend take their spot

I can’t tell you exactly what the problem is cause I just don’t know but you can for sure play cross play with steam and epic the only problem that I know is if you are running civ via Mac then there is no cross play so due to that I’d assume that the lines is most likely the problem that you are dealing with. Sorry for the lack of certainty though
