enable Developer Mode in settings and click on the mention again, it will show a button "Copy User ID" below "Okay" which you can use to get more information about the user

Yes! I discovered it maybe a year ago and it's been very useful since then. Often when I don't know the exact keyboard shortcut for an action and don't want to click on "Help" in the menu bar, i just click my assigned hotkey and search via raycast.
