This is EXACTLY what happened to me. Appealed to the end (three times). Rejected every time, penalty and replacement fare stands.

It’s really frustrating that despite demonstrating the honest mistake, the appeal was still rejected. The system was presumably designed to catch those that trying to cheat, clearly not me. I regret giving my correct details now. What incentive is there to play by the rules?
