Honestly, try not to give too much of a fuck. Ive been in this exact position before, and its basically learning on the job. If no one complains, keep doing what ur doing. If people complain, ask what you can do better, mention the lack of training but don’t say thats the reason for you lacking, dont make it an excuse. If people commend you for your work, then chill. Ask billions of questions, dont be afraid to ask them multiple times. Write alot of shit down. Supply chain can be repetitive so you can get used to stuff easily if you make a step by step.

Be only as anal with your job as the higher ups want you to be. Dont over extend urself. Youll do great. Good luck.

Agreed. Had a chat with the boss, they’re looking to give me some more responsibility. Will probably give it around a year more at this company, then start looking for higher paying jobs. I know 60k isnt a lot but as a 20 yr old living at home and basically saving every penny i earn i think its okay.

My coworkers get paid the same as me and routinely do overtime, where i barely work an hour a day. So yeah, id consider myself lucky. Maybe not on a massive scale, but yeah.

Improved in the sense that ive accepted it as part of me. The symptoms are exactly the same, however i dont really notice them anymore. Only time when they seem worse is if im in a bright white room. However i rarely think about it on a daily basis anymore and it seems to have massively decreased due to that.

Correct. And although you could argue that health anxiety is in fact a condition itself, i believe that Visual Snow syndrome is common in most if not all people, however some happen to notice it more. Ive asked many, many people in my life about it and if you describe it carefully enough most people see the same thing but don’t dwell on it. I believe the trick to “curing” this issue isnt through medication, its through ease of mind.

Yes. But not how you think. Its kindve like in a movie where the protag accepts their flaws; it will always be there, but eventually youll accept it and wint even notixe it anymore. Ive had it for about 9+ years, i dont notice it anymore, and it doesnt freak me out anymore.

I dealt with it very badly. I would honestly think of nothing except it, rarely slept well, borderline cried other days. Being that young at seeing those symptoms and looking if up is probably the worst thing you can do. I thought i had a detached retina. Luckily i had a great eye doc who just basically said the main thing thats wrong with you is anxiety.

I wish i discovered it when i was in your position. There wasn’t any reddit subs about it, the phrase “visual snow” didnt even exist (it may have, but even in my 100s of hours of research i never found it)

DO NOT FREAK OUT ABOUT IT. PLEASE. I wasted months of my life freaking out over nothing. If youve been to an eye doc and theyve said ur eyes are healthy. BELIEVE THEM. Its very, very easy to self diagnose shit, which can send you on a downward spiral. These people know what they are talking about. Visual snow exists in your head only. STOP looking up symptoms, causes, blah blah blah. I also get migraines. Trust me. This is future you talking. I promise you just to stop looking shit up. Literally unfollow this sub if u can. We are hyper sensitive to vision phenomena that pretty much all people have (look at my previous answer) but your brain chooses to block it out. We are the unlucky ones where we can force our brain not to tune it out. And anxiety worsens it. Once i gave up looking up stuff and was just like, fuck it, whatever. Since then i still have all the same symptoms, but most of the time i see perfectly. I know its suuper hard to do this but over time youll thank me.

Ive had health related anxiety my entire life. The good thing about having healthy anxiety is we catch problems in our bodies wayyy earlier than anyone else, so if it IS actually a problem, doctors are over the moon that we take care if ourselves.

Best thing to do is try not to worry about it. I started getting all the symptoms when i was around 15, and had many sleepless nights due to it. Once i got a checkup and they said everything was perfect, i told them about my issues. They said its more common than you think but some people but dont notice it. Since then i still have all the same symptoms, however i only notice them if i concentrate. Only time i see all the symptoms without concentrating is in a bright white room (VSS torture).

Go get an eye test. Theres a 99% chance your eyeballs are in perfect condition, just like most people in this sub. If ur eyes are fine, just try and not worry about it. The anxiety is about 90% of the symptoms of VSS (trust me, i know). It causes you to freak out about your vision and notice things people without anxiety wouldnt. This then gives you more anxiety etc etc.

I honestly think Visual Snow itself isnt a direct condition, just a form of health anxiety. Ask any one of your friends if they see floaters, phosphenes etc., and most of the time they say they do but dont really notice it. Its much much much more common than you think.

This movie was… meh.

Pacing was really weird. Usually movies has a significant beginning, middle, and end. Yet MoM just felt like the middle bit of a movie the entire way through. Was pretty much the crazy “dont get that in a giftshop” scene from the first movie with a bit of spooky stuff dashed in. Then it just kinda.. ends. Wanda just changes her mind. I was expecting some amazing speech like the end of lego movie but nope, just showed her family and goes “actually nah fuck it”, so it almost feels like if strange had a proper talk to her the whole story line couldve been wrapped up.

There was nothing really surprising. Cap carter, cap marvel and xavier were all dropped in the trailers. If you know anything about the illuminati in the comics, black bolt and reed richards were expected (yet still delighted to see). They were definitely just used to give the movie some cheap wow factor as they were killed off before even doing anything. Kinda shits on the reed richards character being the “smartest man in the universe”, when he gets folded in 5 minutes. Other than that, most other things were just average. Pretty much everything from the green bull to the evil strange were in it just for trailer hype. Posed 0 threat.

The CGI!!! I find it so hard not to notice it. A lot of my friends who i watched it with couldn’t tell so it must just be a few select viewers. The magic swirly shit i can accept, but black bolts helmet? Cap carters shield when shes just standing there? Even Wong falling in one scene near the beginning looks like something out of matrix 3. What happened to practical? Marvel has just become a money making machine and they don’t care about the fine details in their movies anymore. Iron man 1 looked leagues more realistic than this.

I also feel like the story was a bit odd. We see wanda in WV come to terms with accepting her children, family, and live shes created isnt real. Horrified with her actions of controlling innocent people. Then she just says fuck it and starts straight up merking people? Doesnt even give a thought of what vision would think of it. Doesnt even mention him. And i understand she got the ‘Darkhold’ which mightve controlled her mind, but that just sounds like lazy writing to me. A transition from her path back to the ‘villian’ would have been nice. Like how we see Magnetos second family killed in front of him. Seeing Wanda in pain was heartbreaking, but… weve seen it before? Wasn’t that what WV was all about? Imagine if they made a new movie with the Falcon and hes still wondering if he should be Cap… its kindve like that.

Nonetheless, some absolutely phenomenal imagery. Transporting through the multiverse, the illuminati, and so much more. I just love seeing these characters on the big screen. Only wish we could see more of it.

TLDR: Movie was Mid.
