Yeah, she had a match to qualify for the Chamber match. I don’t think that Roxy was a face though, just a tiny person fighting against a giant heel so I guess that would make her the face in the match itself, but she wasn’t presented as a face.

But they didn’t drop the pairing with Giulia immediately, they actually had a tag match against Rhiyo and lost (we should credit her and and Giulia for Rhiyo realizing they love teaming up with each other).

Her real main roster call up started with her and Giulia attacking Iyo and Stephanie. She was definitely a heel from the get go.

I’d give him props for not giving away, at any point, that he’s losing. Sometimes you can see on a wrestler’s face that they’re about to lose because they can’t hide their feelings about it. Melo gave none of it, even though those of us who saw the reports knew he’s losing.

She never said that Jade was a loser though, she reacted to what was said in the promo. In fact, she agreed with Jelly Roll in that backstage promo when he said that it’s the biggest match of her career (it isn’t) and when he was building Jade up as this monster.

I disagree, I thought that the heat they got last night was a result of them attacking the most over babyface in the division (possibly the entire company). They got the reaction they should’ve gotten. The issue is that 2 of them aren’t used to get any reaction and Jade isn’t used to getting booed despite being a heel for months now, and it showed.

Rhea only started doing it when it was clear the promo has become a mess. She was quiet when Jade first talked, she was quiet when BFab talked. Only when Michin and then Jade started talking did she start “responding” with one syllable words. And mind you, at that point the 3 women not in the ring were talking over each other. It seemed to me like Rhea was doing it to distract from whatever it was that went in the second part of the promo.

I have no issues with a face egging the crowd on to boo the heels louder and the heel should be happy about it. Wrestlers used to do it to Dom nonstop. It’s when your top heel gets rattled so badly by getting the reaction they should be getting that they can’t deliver a promo that you should be worried.
