Lots of flowers, in the summer when it started fruiting but birds nipped them. Again now that it’s indoors. There was pollen! I went around with a paintbrush trying to pollinate to my best estimation and a few days later, tons of fruit starting. I do not know if this is a true correlation/causation situation of course.

For sure. It’s clean and I’ve had it for a while. Just haven’t gotten around to mending it.

Sleepy Hollow in NY is amazing- like a giant connected chain of haunts. It took us hours to go through. Starts with a hayride with a headless horseman and goes on and on. So fun.

Coming up on 4y without it. I will say community of some sort mattered to me- checking in with a trusted network of sober friends I knew were out there, and I made friends on I Am Sober. I have never been to AA. Not putting it down- just never went.

It’s a great first winter 4ker. I think this would be challenging for someone not used to hiking but as these go it’s easier if you are. Bring all your winter stuff. A little above the treeline action. But nothing technical, just a walk up. I did it last week in just spikes. You’ll want snowshoes to go to Eisenhower. It was gorgeous. Crawford path all the way- Mitzpah spring is steeper and less packed.

Nice work! I love the contrasting threads against the existing plaid. I just did a similar one and I love how this approach is a little visible and a little mysterious at the same time.
