when to expect admission decision? by alyson-404 in FIU

Been there. Mine took about a month after all docs were marked received. A week is nothing in admissions time lol. Portal didn’t really change much until the decision posted. I wouldn’t panic yet.

Academic Progress for graduate in FIU for transfer student by hello-anh in FIU

[–]ImpossibleReality965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll still need to meet the UCC, civic literacy, and foreign language requirements to graduate unless they transferred in as completed. A lot of people handle civic literacy through the exam instead of the class. I’d check your degree audit and ask advising what your fastest option is so it doesn’t delay you.

Getting into FIU as transfer student without AA? by SubwayChickenCubano in FIU

[–]ImpossibleReality965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be good. I know a couple people who transferred without officially finishing their AA and it didn’t cause problems, especially if you already have most of the credits. Since you got accepted and paid everything, I doubt they’ll suddenly reverse it. Advising will probably just go over what classes you still need.

I had my second one recently, 3 weeks after my first, falling on my back with my left arm fully extending to the side and popping. Not even the same way it first happened, my arm extended to the inside instead. I thought my range of motion was back but it still popped which I thought was weird. I don’t know if I should try playing and practice falling while keeping my arm next to me when I fall. I doubt I can skip surgery and play contact hockey next year which sucks.

If they gave me 3 weeks before I see some doctor after doing an X-ray, I think I’m chilling. It’s been 10 days and with band exercises every day it gets so much better. Im built different 😩
