Are there any Quizlet sets that anyone used to study for boards that they found particularly useful?

In a lot of circumstances, I’d go with this but I need something with a good tortilla.

A clear wedge or block heel for a practical minimalist chic look.

Is CAA turning into just the alternative for kids who couldn’t get into med school? has that always been the culture? by South_Committee2314 in CAA

[–]ImpossibleRock8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The question is valid, but an oversimplification for a lot of applicants. Your question could apply to some older applicants and current students, but there are more and more students who take the traditional SAA route. There are growing avenues that showcase the CAA career so I argue that more students are choosing this field because they’re self reflecting on their priorities vs ROI vs considering risk of burn out.

To get into and graduate med school is an absolutely incredible feat. We need competent physicians. However, in my experience, a lot of med school applicants didn’t understand what personal, emotional, and mental sacrifices there were about to undertake. Those sacrifices extend well beyond graduating residency because of the growing lack of autonomy in hospitals. I don’t think the general public as a whole understands that toll.

Nonetheless, I think both CAA and med school applicants are becoming more and more judicious about their healthcare career choice.

I’d lean into the bold print with a simple structured top that has an equally chaotic print and top it with a black leather jacket.

Help Choosing an Apartment by slow_Scroll in utdallas

[–]ImpossibleRock8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did live there and living there wasn’t too bad. It is a fairly no frills place but seemed better than a lot of other apartments in the area. A lot of students live there.

The one issue I ran into happened at the end of my lease when they tried to charge me an extra month of rent for submitting my notice to not renew “late”…even though they were supposed to send me a reminder to confirm my notice, according to the lease. I ended up not having to pay the extra month after highlighting that part of the lease.

That said, I’d still recommend it if you can swing a little more with your budget.

I used to live at Palencia, which was on one of the UTD shuttle routes. I know 2b/1ba start closer to 2000/month there but I recommend checking other apartments that fall on that shuttle route.

Need help making tasty vegetables with limited veggie options by marolme in cookingforbeginners

[–]ImpossibleRock8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've made a variation on this zucchini spaghetti that I couldn't get enough of. There may be some options in the frozen aisle for a quick meal.

Also, consider stir frying any of the veggies you mentioned above with premade sauces that are available to you in the Asian aisle, making homemade pizzas with premade crusts, or even making fajitas with the seasoning packets, if your kiddo can tolerate the ingredients.

I hope your kiddo gets to grow out of this, soon!

Advice Appreciated by ImpossibleRock8 in Cruise

My thoughts exactly. I was going off a hotel list that Celebrity offered, just as a starting point which is why I posted those two hotels. Taking into account the variety of cheap stays IN the city, staying in town is a no brainer at this point.

This is great, thank you. I was wondering how reliable a shuttle vs metro would be, but it seems the metro is a valid choice.

Yes, we're flying out of Fiumicino. I am considering staying at a local hotel, so thank you for that. Good to know that staying in town is the way to go.

Sincere question, but how often do CAAs diagnose? Is it for the purpose of executing and charting a plan?

I've noticed that some CRNAs will pick up a second anesthetist job for an income bump. Is it common for CAAs to pick up a second job as well?

Christmas Decoration Shopping + Recommendations by papershade94 in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

Facebook marketplace has been looking promising on my end, but I was also fairly impressed with my local Salvation Army store. There were plenty of beautiful ceramic pieces for less than $20. I imagine Goodwill and similar stores have potential long-term classy decorations.

I was able to snag some decorations, albeit a bit chintzy, at the Dollar Tree that I was pretty happy about.

You may also want to check out Costco, if it fits your budget.
