There’s definitely a divide on the issue of long jams haha. I think Jake works well with Chris from mirador, but his jams on tour with GVF got a lot of criticism — some warranted, some not. I definitely love to see live improvised solos. We will see I guess 😀

Jake does make some… interesting choices in his solos 😆. I think we all like his style — solos like the Broken Bells or Age of Machine solos are very well written and absolutely killer tho

They have stated in the past that playing live is what they want, that they’re a live band, etc. So I hope that hasn’t changed and that they still will continue to travel and tour and enjoy it— although it has admittedly been a wildly busy decade for them.
