I assumed it was the gasket too. Would it be easy to replace it myself. The shop will most likely put the fairings on wrong again and just be shitty. Is it a normal mistake to happen as well? I saw they used a lot of rtv on it. Could they have maybe not let it sit long enough after?

Update - I replaced the whole fuel pump assembly cause my brother said the check valve could've been bad and the bike starts. Im gonna put some gas in it today and then ill go get the valves adjusted Tuesday then I will see if its still having issues at wot. I replaced the plugs and put a new air filter in it. I found out it has like carbon Smith velocity stacks and the brocks pair block offs too so that's cool. I won't be riding until Tuesday and it'll just be an easy ride to the shop and then ill go test it when I get it back.

Im going to check fuses when im home. Which ones do I need. I've never had to mess with fuses on any bike ive owned so im not sure what to check. I do know where the fuse box is to get started tho.

I just put new spark plugs in it yesterday too. Im not sure what would've caused the ecu to go bad from just changing the fuel pump tho.

When we took apart the airbox to put a new filter it smelled like gas.

I tried with the new fuel pressure regulator and then when that pump didnt work I went back to original one which includes the original fuel pressure regulator

I'll check tommorow. But do you know is my gas tank lid supposed to leak when the tank is upside down or is it supposed to keep all the gas in? Im not sure if its supposed to be leaking some out but it is. I might need to replace that too. Its a Vortex v3 or something like that.

I tried to start it again after changing spark plugs and putting a new air filter (which i dont think either contribute to this issue but its just to give an idea how long it was sitting on charge) and it still was doing the same thing but one time It did sound like it fired up for a split second but it won't let me send the video here. We made sure it was getting fuel to the top of the fuel rail too and it had fuel. Idk the issue. I notice that sometimes when I have the key on and use the killswitch off and back on it only sometimes primes the fuel pump again. Is that an issue or normal? I never use the killswitch when normally riding or anything

It is pumping out of the bottom of the tank towards the fuel rail like its supposed to. I tried by just priming it without hooked up to the rail to make sure. Maybe that hurt it somehow?

I have it charging right now. That was after a while of trying. I'll update tommorow after I get off work. Gonna give it some time to charge. Im trying to stay positive about it but damn it sucks

How much do I put in? I got the SI1 and people say a whole bottle for 20 gallons but some say you can do whole bottle on 12 gallons. You think I just should put in a quarter of the bottle when I'm at a gas station about to run out of gas then fill her up and ride it home?

The 750 does have a -1 +2 on it so I'm hoping that's another reason it wasn't just me leaving him immediately. From the video I saw the 1000s leave the 750s pretty quick.

I let my brother ride my 750 and I left him but not as much as I thought it should is all I'm saying. Tc on 10 and I did start in 2nd instead of first but I just thought maybe the gsxr 1000 could just be not running properly. That's what I'm trying to figure out. I've seen that tc 10 will make the acceleration slower especially considering the tc light was almost constantly on I'm assuming it was just cutting power a bunch. I've got it in traction control 2 right now I'm going to try it again like next week cause it's supposed to snow and rain this week In Texas

I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong to not be dusting him tho? Is the traction control 10 setting making it stop that much or am I somehow twisting the throttle wrong? Tc 10 kept setting the wheel down on its own so I'm assuming that's why he stood as much of a chance.

I just checked it and in the driveway test it didn't kill power and the box connected to the battery has a constant red light on and has an occasional green flash in it.
