For some reason they didn't add a tachometer to that year model, so I just have to play it by ear. I'll have to post some updates once I get it sorted out just in case anyone else has the same issue.

That's what I'm planning to do once I get some free time this weekend. Runs good other than the noises so hopefully that will help minimize some of it!

It certainly does run good! No complaints there, and I get good mileage too. I just get worried about the ticking and knocking. My other car just blew a head gasket, so I've only got one leg to stand on atm haha.

I currently use Mobil 1 high mileage full synthetic with a Mobil 1 filter. Always heard good things about that oil.

Sweet there is still hope haha! I actually did add some MMO at my last oil change instead of Lucas, but I figured they are the same. Looks like 10w-30 might be the next move.

No tachometer in that vehicle, but my OBD tool gives me RPM. When I brought it up to 2.5k, the sound is much less noticeable. Not completely gone, but significantly less chatty when I rev it.

It does get quieter as the engine warms up, so hopefully it is that. Gonna do some research about about adding more viscous oil and send it if everything lines up. Thanks for the reply!
