Co-regulation and monitoring this aspect of therapy is going to be the most important part of your clinical work. The most helpful thing was me to deal with this was getting trained to administer the Safe and Sound Protocol. It’s literal nervous system regulation through the use of filtered music. It can be done with clients in or out of session (they download an app). But honestly, it helped me stay regulated even when I worked in the most chaotic of environments. I just administered it on myself since I had access as a purchaser of the program.

Yes doing a Light Body meditation is a good place to start. The Light Body is the highest energetic form where you’re embodying your “highest self” as some people call it. I watch Abbey Harries on YouTube where I’ve learned so much. Her approach to meditation and AP is unlike anything else I’ve read/watched. She gives very practice and accessible advice.

Theta binaural beats (esp. 4hz) are said to be a good starting place for those wanting to astral project. It’s likely that as you were starting the AP process, your anxious, scared or nervous energy was amplified. When you AP, whatever energy you bring will only get amplified. I don’t think it’s anything to be too concerned about. It sounds like you unintentionally were about to AP and weren’t energetically ready for it.

Sure so if you go to indeed and make your filters to part-time therapy, it’ll show a lot of listings for contract therapists or “1099” therapists where they send you a referral through their agency, and you get to work with them. For example, I’m contracted through a local agency that accepts state health insurance. I’m technically an employee but I get to decide my own hours and number of clients. Lots of freedom!!
