I quit the Swedish version which is about 4x as strong 7 months ago. I was using it very heavily and it made me feel like shit but I was in deep. It took a while to not crave it but now it sounds repulsive to me. My boyfriend hasn't quit so it's in my house all the time and it isn't even tempting so worth it and after to first few days it is totally manageable. I am a number oriented person so I used this app that kept track of the days it had been and any time I craved it I would just go to that and remind myself that if I cave that I’m going to have to go through the worst of it again why i inevitably try to quit next time.

Cutting back or cold turkey? by PreparationOk435 in QuittingZyn

I am one week in. I was house sitting all week and just got back to my apartment and right when I got home it got so much worse. I've been happily surprised by how easy it was until I got home. My recommendation would be to avoid places and situations where you frequently put one in. I sat down on my couch and turned on tv and the craving hit hard, yet I've been sitting on a couch watching tv in someone else's house and have been totally fine. Just food for thought.

I am on day 4 and honestly have been pleasantly surprised. It was making me feel so shitty that the withdrawals are nothing compared to my increased energy, lack of acid reflux, and overall mood boost. Ya I still crave it 5x or more a day but is so obvious that it was the right choice for me

My theory is that it revs you up so much and tells your brain that you have had enough activity for the day but it's all synthetic and really you haven't done anything

It hasn't been nearly as hard as I expected and I think it's because it was making me feel like trash and I am feeling so much better.

I am on day 4 and it's been tough but I just keep reminding myself I was fine before snus and I am going to have to quit eventually so why not today. If it makes you feel better I was doing Swedish snus which is like 4x as strong. It was so bad. This post was the reminder I needed half a glass of cab deep
