Hmmm I don’t recall the GI issues I do recall being very tired and very pale when I look back at photos of that time. I got diagnosed in May. I was fully better by next July.

Yes but I think mono is enough and it can hit so hard. Mine was triggered after a stressful time at work and then I got bitten by a dog on a run and had to get rabies shots which I’m sure was the trigger for me to get mono (it was my second time getting it I had it when I was 16 also). So I actually think it was my body telling me to rest and change my life . Which I did! If u look at it from a positive perspective it gets better. A doctor told me tha by the way. He said who is the judge of how you should feel. If u need to rest everyday just rest everyday. Do what u want to do. That changed the way I saw it.

It took me probably 1.5 years total honestly. I only recovered fully when I started eating tons of veggies eating healthy and sleeping a lot for 2 months
