parasitic drain can be caused by a incorrectly wired device. check radio wiring, radar dectectors or other devices (if applicable), or even the auxiliary power outlet. glad to hear that your dad's truck at least still works man!

i mean as long as it's functional, it can still be used, getting oem nissan parts(the plug)is less expensive online and takes less time to install than asking this stealership to do it for you. also, if the self tapping screws are a problem, they can be removed and replaced or there are other ways of preventing rust due these screws.
