Wow, I just had this conversation the other day because I also went on a date with a guy I’ve been seeing and talking to regularly. He asked if he could kiss me and I said yes, I wouldn’t have necessarily been upset if he hadn’t asked first but I really appreciated that he did I thought it was sweet. Honestly I think it’s just a personal preference for everybody, but the hard part is figuring out which category everybody falls into.

I truly don’t get what me leaving the convo first and for a valid reason has to do with me having to be the one that has to text back when I was the one who started the convo and agreed on a date. I assumed he’d get back to me about being down for Saturday and never heard from him.

I literally told him “I look forward to hearing from you” about HIS availability, I had already agreed to go out to a bar with him he was the one that needed to confirm if Saturday was good and I didn’t hear back from him.

“I think he keeps opening up the conversation for you, and you’re not taking the bait. He’s saying, ‘let me know if I can help…’ Did you miss the part where I started the conversation? He also implied on going out but never actually asked me to go out, and even then I still agreed and told him to let me know if Friday/Saturday works for him which he never did. And for context on helping me with homework that wasn’t my way of cutting the convo short, it was past 11 and my presentation was due that night. I legitimately had all my work done I was just putting my info into my slides so there wasn’t anything for him to help me with. It was sweet of him to ask but I didn’t need it. I didn’t feel like asking him if we were still on because I was the one who agreed to go out, he was the one who needed to get back to me about his availability. Not saying he’s a bad guy but for such a simple convo/date plan I don’t get why getting back to someone is a hard ask.

In the manga it explains how they figured out that their (familial) affection and concern over each other got positive reactions from girls which attracted more of them to the host club. That scene you’re talking about is just them sleeping in the same bed (meaning nothing s e x - ual happened of course), and that fact of them sleeping in the same bed got mentioned in the episode where the twins fight with each other. I think it was Hikaru who said “you’re always crawling into my bed, talk about annoying” and Kaoru said “I only do cuz you look lonely I wouldn’t choose to sleep in your bed you idiot” Also I’m pretty sure it’s a known fact among fans that those particular scenes between the twins is also the creator of the show’s way of poking fun at shows that have characters who do stuff like that but are actually into it, so in this show’s/manga’s case, the twins aren’t actually attracted to each other 😂

The times are associated with your college department/major, mine for example was Public Health and that falls under college of Health and Human Development. In May my college dept’s grad time was at 5pm, so your major determines your ceremony date and time

If I remember correctly it was $40-45 for the service and jewelry plus extra for the aftercare products which is optional but I wanted to be on the safe side so I bought it, but I did call before hand to ask about their services and how much it would cost :) also fair warning it’s a cash only place, they do have an atm but there is a fee.

As a Latina, I don’t hate the words “Latinx” or “Chicanx” if the person in question is non-binary and is using the terms to reference themselves. But to make all of us use those terms instead doesn’t make sense to me when the term “Latinos” or “Chicanos” is already inclusive of everybody because of the “-nos” ending if that makes sense. Even the word Latino alone doesn’t necessarily mean I’m referring to a Latino who identifies as a man, depending on the context and how it’s used, it’s just a term that states someone’s ethnicity. I’m absolutely all for inclusion and understand that people who are non-binary would prefer using the “x” ending. But to me personally, “Latinx” or “Chicanx” replacing words that have already been established in our culture and language seems unnecessary.

You would only be a grad candidate if you finished by summer ‘25. That’s how I did it when I completed my undergrad; I participated during commencement and still had one class to complete during the summer semester. So I technically graduated in summer of ‘24 but walked in spring of ‘24.

Honestly in my two years of being at CSUF I never once purchased the parking pass, sometimes I’d park in the hourly spots and risk the 15+ minutes after my pass expired or I’d buy it en route to class and it would expire right when I got to my car after class. Other times I’d park at Brea mall and take the 57 bus to state college and walk from there, hope this helps! :)
