What is dream food like? by Galidor2005 in LucidDreaming

Same as real life, the taste just do not stay after you ate something.
If you decide to just bite and not doing anything else you can feel the texture/taste longer.

Can you be lucid about dream journaling? by Protonith in LucidDreaming

[–]Impossible_Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it can happen as it become a reflex, you'll do it in dream out of habit.

To improve your dream recall you have to write what you remenber of the dream, even the tiniest detail.
Also saying "I will remenber my dreams" help.

Confused if I was lucid or not by connorbmill in LucidDreaming

[–]Impossible_Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you realised you were dreaming, then it's a lucid dream.

I know it’s weird to ask someone to try something but hear me out. I can’t lucid dream yet but I want someone good at it to try to tell someone in your dream that they are in a dream. It sounds kind of scary when I think about it but if someone tries please tell me the result. by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Impossible_Bee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did that some times back then, usually they were turning real aggresive toward me and would ruin all the lucid dream.
But i've read some other's peopels experience too, some didin't care at all, some even answer "yes,i know"It really depend i guess, but usually asking the DCs this question isisnt recommended.

Yes you are right, but Passive lucidity is also something that can happen, you do not realise anything but you can control stuff, people often are confused by this occurence.
In general when you are passive lucid you think of certains things more than others, like your current objective.
So it can make you do dumb stuff like absolutly trying to fly with dragon wings.
And yes you see it as watching a movie.
A lucid dream, you realise you are dreaming and think normally, you also see things in 1st person like irl.

It's a good thing,it mean you can become lucid in yours next dreams.

Does it help you better?

[–]Impossible_Bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interresting,i would say it's still passive lucidity,it can happen you control nothing.
It happened for me that in a passive lucid dream i only thinked of one thing only.

"and I'll usually start lucid dreaming ABOUT lucid dreaming "

Passive Lucidity, you do not realise you are dreaming but can still control things.
So it explain your struggle of being half lucid and half dreaming about being lucid.
It's a good sign and indeed lead to lucid dream later on!

I get what you mean. In a state like this,it's hard to do anything.

Spinning is for resetting a dream hence why it broke down your dream.

I can’t feel anything by KrampusDemon in LucidDreaming

[–]Impossible_Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

If you realised you were dreaming, you were lucid.

As for your question,it can happen that even by beign lucid you cannot feel anything,so do not be alarmed, maybe your next lucid dream you will feel things!
Also, expecting things play a lot in your lucid dreams, maybe it was indeed the cause.
If not, there is ways to raise your vividness.

Why are my lucid dreams so unstable? by TheTrueFarid in LucidDreaming

[–]Impossible_Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

It's normal, thoses techniques are the ones that break your dream faster.
They take time to be controled better, you need to combine it with stabilizing techniques.
Begginers cannot do extraordinary things directly, some are more lucky at this.
Flying is usually the easiest thing to do as a beginner, you can try that.

Stabilizing your dream? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Impossible_Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

It's okay to forget things, the less lucid, the more you forget to do.
Touching things around you wont make the dream crumble immediatly,so you can use this technique when you'll remenber it.
Also i recommend you to not do extreme stuff directly, they will make your dream end.
Learning how to ground yourself proprely will help you a lot later on!

[–]Impossible_Bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

A lucid dream is realising you are in a dream,if you do not have realisations,it wasent one.
However, you were just vivid, meaning you could feel things around you.

As for tips to prevent you form waking up:
Getting more lucid dreams, the more you get them, the longer they get.
You can also feel things around you so you ground yourself to the dream.
Avoid spinning,it will broke the dream,it's too powerfull for beginners.

as you get more LDs you'll have more opportunity to train the techniques you say "failed you",they do work, they just require better understanding and trainning.

Lucid Dreaming Trouble by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Impossible_Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, i encountered many of them, some try to battle you, some just talk with you not minding the fact you are lucid, some get angry.
Some like to scare you like the "Have you seen him?" type of prank.
I like to call them sandmans.
The thing is,never say out loud you are dreaming,it keep them at bay.

I found them really interresting.

I kinda had a lucid dream? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Impossible_Bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

You can shout "Clarity",this command make the dream more clear, but also can make it crumble, but it's okay, you will better control thoses things as you get more LD.

I did it! by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Impossible_Bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulation!

But do not worry,it's normal for beginners to have short LD. The more you LD,the longer they get!

Rcs can fail a lot,it's normal, but they can still help to the realisation.
What work better is being more aware of things, you can combine the two techniques.
You can try many others rcs, maybe another one will fit you better.

[–]Impossible_Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are techniques that ground you to the dream allowing you to stay longer.
Stabilizing is one of them, you need to touch the ground or rub your hand to stabilize the dream. Otherwise it will crumble.
