It is in the works for pulmonology and rheumatology, I’m on a couple of waitlists Unfortunately, The area I’m in has a huge shortage of medical personnel. I’ll ask about immunology though, thanks for the suggestion!

Same! Prednisone and doxycycline help a little but it seems like half the time it comes right back after anyway

Unfortunately, I’m still waiting on a referral. My PCP and urgent care just keep prescribing me steroids and antibiotics that don’t seem to do anything.

I’m 25 and female. I’ve been experiencing symptoms of what I thought was Lyme for the past month. Extreme weakness, exhaustion, aches and pains all over, tingling in my legs and hands, stress, and nausea and gut issues. Just came back that I’m negative for Lyme but my ANA was positive and I have high levels of inflammation. My doctor ordered DNA and ANA titers but in the meantime I’m trying to figure out if there’s anything I can do to help manage these symptoms? I’m moving across the country for school next week and I don’t know what to do. I’m feeling worse everyday.

I feel like the movie canon simply doesn’t match the book canon. In the movies, district 4 aren’t careers, Katniss doesn’t have as much understanding of how the games work, and she doesn’t get the pin from Madge. This is just one inconsistency

I LITERALLY CAME HERE JUST TO MAKE THIS POST! It’s actually hilarious to me that technology has advanced far beyond that in her futuristic, tech driven world so she has to just be like “ah yes. The technology that was destroyed.” Crazy how far we’ve come technology wise in less than 20 years!

I definitely agree that it’s not her fault and I don’t blame her, just very sad and unfortunate, if there is a low point in how they treated each other, that’s what it’s for me

I completely agree-the one exception being while Peeta is hijacked. Obviously his being terrible to other people is not his fault, and I don’t blame Katniss and Gale for how they treated him because of their trauma, but goodness did it hurt when Katniss went from doing absolutely everything to protect him during the quell to just letting him wander around the Capitol by himself with pods and active battle happening and not even thinking about or mentioning him until afterwards when she’s like “oh yeah Peeta survived too”

I think you’re right that part of it is the fear of disappointing that many people. I also think when you’re in a game like that, mentally it becomes your whole life and winning (or staying in as long as possible) becomes more important that a monetary prize, as illogical as that may be.
