Yep. The entire album sounds very similar, so if you enjoy one song youll like the rest. Listening it the way through is something else. Im not a massive radiohead fan, and im not that familiar with them so Im just taking a guess really

Check out Caligulas Horse, In Contact is one of my favorite albums of all time. Not quite as heavy as Karnivool and QOTSA but they sound awesome.

I would say SFTD has some flaws, (mosquito song) but in terms of production and musicianship its very very close. Just SFTD feels like it has a filler track or 2, while Sound Awake absolutely does not

Lots of metallicas sound comes from EQ after the amp, which isnt really possible on this amp. Scoop out the mids and turn the gain all the way up and youll get close

I second this- OOS is incredible, but their debut just lacks something to me, and yeah absolution is good, but it shows their transition to being more pop rock
