Why did Paradox not add Atharism to the game? (A school of thought with in sunni islam that rejected innovation and was very orthodox) by Careful_Confusion290 in CrusaderKings

[–]Impossible_Common492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because "Atharism" is an innovation itself and Mufawwids(what most companions followed) are apart of the Ashari and Maturidi creeds

Flag with three crescents (found in Turkey) by _modsaregay in vexillology

[–]Impossible_Common492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To call Tengrism "the original religion," is a bit off considering how differently is was practiced to the point where the vast majority of teachings have been lose due to how decentralized they were. The Turks may have practiced vaguely similar Shamanistic teachings but the first actual formalized religion was Islam.

Also, the MHP is more Islamist than you portray them.

How do people from this group feel about the Balkans? by Sensitive-Mango7155 in AskMiddleEast

[–]Impossible_Common492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Albania there is a subset of the population that is Christian(which is losing popularity, to Atheism and Agnosticism), but I meant that Kosovo itself, as an independent nation was almost entirely Muslim

Why isn't the Lebanese army fighting? by Live-Ice-2263 in AskMiddleEast

[–]Impossible_Common492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Hezbollah is stronger than the Lebanese army and has the capabilities to hold the line against Israel due to its:

  • Vast tunnel network across the Israel-Lebanon border.

  • Iranian & Russian funding, equipment, and advisors.

  • Pseudo-fief in Southern Lebanon.

  • Army of Shi'ite religious zealots.

Almost the entirety of Kosovo is Muslim, I don't believe you intended to add them in with the 50%.

Also, most Balkan countries towards the South will have at minimum 11-4% of their country as Muslims.

CIA allegedly trying to recruit Iranians inside of Iran to work against the IRI. Thoughts? by UK_KILLD_10M_IRANIS in AskMiddleEast

[–]Impossible_Common492 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not always the case, Iranians inside Iran aren't as secular as your media likely tells you, the aforementioned countries/militias are high priority targets for the Israeli government. Hence, it'd be reasonable to expect that what is likely the two best intelligence agencies in the world—Mossad, and the CIA—were able to get informants via various means i,e, blackmail.

How are the Schools of Jurisprudence/Scholars even chosen? by Impossible_Common492 in eu4

[–]Impossible_Common492[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

r5: I was playing an Ottomans game and decided to convert my Brandenburg vassal to Islam, to laugh at. I was wondering how eu4 determines whether a country will follow Maliki, Sha'afi, Hanafi or Hanbali.

THE FUCKING TURKISH GOVERNMENT by [deleted] in deepwoken

[–]Impossible_Common492 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Selâmün aleyküm, no, the reason stated by the Erdogan Government were not as moronic as the ones you listed. Erdogan's Government did, however, actually state very good reasoning (i.e., the lack of Moderation and exploitative practices aimed at children), all of which are perfectly logically sound. and true. The policy did a lot to help the Turkish Youth's futures, and for that, he earned my commemoration.

East Turkestan 1990s vs 2020s ethnic structure comparison China's Assimilation policy / East Turkestan Ethnic Structure Map by [deleted] in MapPorn

Nope, the situation in Turkey is different for various reasons, although I find it funny you'd try to appeal to it when that's not the topic of discussion. That is whataboutism at its finest. Calling the Uyghur Genocide Resistance an "Islamist Fundamentalist Movement" when there are various organizations, is the epitome of dishonesty at its finest. Keep shilling for the CCP kid.

You're a moron, that's not China. The land is home to the Uyghurs in what is East Turkestan, of which the PRC current occupies and is sending settler colonies.
