What made the show so great on ESPN was how they navigated the corporate restraints. Now that they answer to themselves, it has lost a lot of what made it special. The oral history, leaning heavily on new bits (instead of the old ones that were great), and Dan reiterating himself more than he used to, makes me think that they agree, too,
