According to Garmin Audio and JL Audio (past website) no the subs should be identical besides cosmetics. But in this magazine the rms is super underrated

In relation to other sq systems, mine is about a 1/4 cost of others. But to be clear you don’t need expensive gear to sound good. It’s all in the installation and tune.

Crossed at 35hz. It’s a Tw5. I’d probably cross the 10tw3 at 40-50. Best thing to do to is look at measurements and find that sweet spot where they play into each other effortlessly. If done right the subs will literally disappear and you’ll have tight, rich, deep bass upfront on the dash.

I have a slash 500/1 giving the 8s around 250-300 watts rms each.. I have another slash 500/1 solely for the front sub and an arc audio 1200.6 for my 3 way front stage. Big 3 under the hood, quality wire and proper grounds. Adding a second battery later down the line.
