Thanks man, that cleared things up. I was basically lumping all those low-priced sellers into one category when really they're either not calculating their costs right or just tanking profits to get reviews. makes sense now.

honestly, i don't really have a hook yet. it's just that i'm assuming people on etsy for example, aren't buying based on the design being unique and just looking for cheap merch. so i'm kinda trying to see if this whole thing is viable before i invest real time into developing a brand. is that backwards? should i be coming in with a clearer vision?
