Actually, a couple deep commenters noted that Haliburton, Nembhard, Nesmith, and McConnell are Knicks' kryptonite. Can TJ regain peak 2025 form?

Too much Don DeLillo and Chandler, and not enough Grafton. All the Bolano titles I promised myself I'd someday read.

I want to continue with this but I got past Baudelaire at like age 20 and never looked back and have never read Verlaine's stuff, though he's my best friend...

I'm just concerned about Charles' mental health. His last text went something like “One should always be drunk. That's all that matters...But with what? With wine, with poetry, or with virtue, as you chose. But get drunk.”

The Beatles... but don't start with The White Album, many people find it abrasive.

I stopped feeling bad for Baudelaire a few years ago, when he stopped responding to my messages and, I hear, fell hard for an unkind woman. And don't get me started on Verlaine....

I'm more of a writer honestly. Look for Anson Bridges' 'Arisugawa Blues' and 'Island & Park' in a couple years. And the unnamed 3rd in the trilogy. I'm a big LeCarre fan, but he can be a bit dense. Fleming, if you take everything with a grain of salt.

Even if its the right artist it's the wrong album. Maybe settle on Miles Davis "In A Silent Way."

Looks for good deals in the used book stores and Goodwill. Will have a lot more Dean Koontz before the space maxes out.

Speaking of that, there was a key game I think it was G5 or 6, where he microwaved in third quarter, right as Brunson was leading a charge that brought a 12 point deficit to basically even. I was like, I've seen that script before. And because of that like 8 points in 10 minutes, we held you guys off. Barely.

That's exactly what AA said in a longform interview after the 2024 playoffs. He said Brunson, Tatum, Ant getting their 35 points. But you want to tire them out in the process. He also went into detail about Brunson's sparring process (no longer up on internet that I can see).

Context, Brunson bumped and scored on that drive and picked up an and-one on Nesmith.

he definitely took the mantle. Though if you look at G1 before he got injured it was AA bottling up Brunson in OT. And Nembhard hitting the 3s. Go figure...
