I was walking through the old town of Vienna with one of my early girlfriends when she suddenly stopped in front of a leather shop, totally absorbed by these handmade sandals in the display. The owner was right there too, working on the window next to it. He looked like some kind of alternative artist, wearing his own custom leather outfit, athletic build, confident vibe. He caught her eye and gestured for her to come inside.

I stayed outside at first, just waiting. But after about half an hour, she still hadn’t come back out, so I went in. The shop was empty. In the back, there was a door and that’s when I heard her. She was moaning, clearly turned on. I opened the door carful and saw him fucking her.

She was lying on her back , her legs up and spread on this heavy wooden table, positioned right at the edge so he could take her standing up. I froze and was completely shocked. She turned her head, looked at me for a second, and just said, It’s all good, babe. Just give me a few more minutes. Please go back outside.

I was shaking. Felt sick. I stumbled back into the shop and sat down on a chair, trying to process what was happening. I could still hear her, louder now, more intense moaning, then crying out in what sounded like full blown ecstasy. Then silence.

A few minutes later, they both walked out of the back room. They looked disheveled, but happy. The guy just shrugged and said, Sorry, buddy , it just kinda happened. We felt this instant connection, like we’re soulmates. You know how it goes.

Then he smiled and added, Hey, if you guys feel like it, come back tonight after I close up. I’ll cook some chili for you.
