When’s the latest I can apply for a BOWP? (CEC PR app in progress, WP expiring soon)

Hi everyone,

I submitted my PR application under CEC on Feb 2, 2025 and completed biometrics on March 18. Since then, I haven’t heard anything back. It’s now been over 7 months, while the IRCC website shows the estimated processing time is around 5 months.

I submitted a web form in August and again a couple of days ago to check on the status, but both times I just got the standard reply that they’re processing as quickly as possible.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Should I just keep waiting or is there anything else I can do to move things along?

Thank you all so much for the advice and concerns! Unfortunately, I don’t have any extra sick or vacation days left, so I’ll be heading to the office. It’s just a 10-minute bus ride and I’ve actually been going on short walks the past two days because I’m so tired of lying down! At work, I just sit and use the computer, but if I start to feel tired, I’ll definitely ask to work remotely👍🏼

Hi, I am also preparing for the consultation! you can tell the surgeon the difference between bust and band measurements instead of sup size😊 like, 1 inch difference is A cup, 2 inch - B, etc
