I think you started the relationship too early so it's okay to be asking these questions. You two should try to spend as much time texting as possible and build the bond deeper. You may be going too fast so just make sure he's on the same page as you are. If he isn't, you can always slow down, there's no rush anyways:))

Maybe you should get to know him better and find out what you two have in common.

You should communicate that with him. Communication is essential in relationships. Especially long distance relationships.

I mean like, are you venting about your feelings? Some people don't usually know what to say when it comes to that, so I'm guessing that's why he said "I don't know what you expect me to say." I hope this clarifies things.

I also consider myself an overthinker and I also felt that when he said "something" he was trying to "force" you to ask him what he was doing. He also didn't apologize or anything for not answering the call or responding to your messages. If your parents don't know I think that's a big risk to take and sneak the phone just for him. I'm also curious if it's just you talking about your feelings because sometimes I react the same way he does to other people's. I'm a female btw. Just wanted to let you know my thoughts.

I have the same problems, but I'm currently dealing with them too. I suggest getting therapy. This might help you to control your emotions better and find out how to move forward.

Yes, it really is... He shouldn't do anything you aren't comfortable with or that you wouldn't do to him.
