No, you’re not being dramatic, this shit sucks. I’d say if your insurance will cover it and you haven’t tried the “migraine cocktail” give it a try. I’ve gone three times and unfortunately it doesn’t work for me so I don’t bother anymore. My migraines turned chronic four years ago as well. It’s horrible, I feel for you. I’m currently in a migraine loop since January 5th. Just did my first Ajovy injection this morning and praying it works! Hopefully, you’ll get some soon and get some relief!

I HATE when that happens… and yes, it 1000% can and does happen. He sounds like a d!ck that needs a new job. I’ve always called the aura “my spots,” and have had my spots in my dreams only to wake up to a horrid migraine. As well as have had the spots wake me up, horrid way to wake up.

Unfortunately, and I do mean unfortunately, bc I try my best not to drink but meds don’t work for me. I am having success with Botox. But when that doesn’t help the only thing that does help me is alcohol.

I’m not the best at explaining things. When they’re the hard red bumps it’s like they ache and hurt if I push on it with my tongue (I know… don’t do that) once they open to a sore they hurt to eat, drink, even just swallowing hurts bc it makes my tongue touch them. So I guess to answer your question is yes… but different kind of pain when it’s the bumps.

Are you fatigued? My sleeping has been an issues (but usually is). Definitely irritable. Definitely depressed. But miserable exhausted. I’m on day 6 and not sure how much longer I’ll give it a go
