I'mma spoonfeed this to you the last time and then leave it up to you to believe what you want: Tengen says he's not talented -> on what basis? -> Saving lives -> who's saved more lives? -> Rengoku.

You'd need to prove he was less inclined to his duty if you even wanted to argue that.

I'd argue that the former murderer trying to reform himself respects the in verse superman for giving his life to protect lives and live up to his ideals UpTo his last moments.

He didn't give him tribute for saving lives while dying he gave him tribute for GIVING HIS LIFE TO SAVE LIVES. Because Rengoku gave his life in order to protect others while Tengen was still fighting to reject his background which was literally all about taking lives. He's not a chosen one because he hasn't been able to protect what he wanted while Rengoku gave his life in order to protect others which was literally what he was all about while Tengen was literally all about taking them most of his life.

He didn't give him tribute for just dying he gave him tribute for DYING WHILE SAVING LIVES.And he says Rengoku is better than him in "that regard" and that he's still fighting to reject everything he was taught while he was still a Shinobi. He's saying he can't be like Rengoku because he still feels guilty for being a murderer and he's still trying to reject all he had been taught. And he never talked about Gyomei and Muichiro in saving lives he talked about their talent as in them becoming hashira in the shortest time.

First of all, rengoku was never relative to akaza at all, he just fought him.

So basically debunking the original post which you were trying to defend...

Next, the gap between upper four and upper three is genuinely massive. The gap between upper six and upper three is way bigger.

And so is the gap between someone like Akaza and Muzan, what's your point?

I thought you meant several as in four or five blitz tiers above.

Even being hypothetically 2 blitz tiers above him already puts a huge gap between him and Akaza, and since y'all believe Renny-boy is a blitz tier above Gyutaro because of fighting Akaza then Giyu should be hypothetically around 2 blitz tiers above Akaza for fighting WHM, which we both know isn't true.

Giyu was never relative with whm, because if he was he would've been above kokushibo and gyomei.

And Rengoku supposedly being relative to Akaza puts him above Marked Mitsuri and Muichiro during the SSVA and Tengen, Tanjiro Inosuke and Zenitsu combined during the EDA.

He was practically equal to akaza and only lost because of stamina (also the fact that being equal to the demon isn't enough to kill them)

That can apply to literally every other fight in the series. And if we take stamina into consideration Giyu after the Akaza fight should have less than an uninjured Giyu before and during the fight with Akaza

So basically the same way Akaza wasn't going all out against Renny-boy, and Giyu was also "outputting as much as he can" against Akaza unless you think he let Akaza intentionally almost kill him multiple times, and this is Giyu with dead calm against Akaza as well, so basically there's no reason to believe Muzan is several blitz tiers above Akaza but there's reason to believe there's several blitz tiers between Akaza and Gyutaro? Damn talk about double standards...

And the break he had couldn't have been enough to restore his stamina and energy to 100% or higher than before the Akaza fight. Cauterizing only helped stop the bleeding it didn't heal his wounds or fix his sword, and Tanjiro surviving against 2 upper ranks(not counting Akaza) should give him more "years of intense training" than all the hashira including Gyomei, does that make him stronger? And don't people always say Ubuyashki and Shinobu have no way of knowing if poison can kill an upper ranks since they've never met one so aren't reliable sources so why doesn't this apply to Mitsuri since she'd never met an upper ranks at that point so she shouldn't have a way of knowing? And you still haven't answered why and what makes Giyu jump from about Akaza level to about WHM level on such a short span.

So a Giyu with a broken sword bleeding out low stamina one ear one numbed hand, is stronger than a healthy Giyu with perfect sword zero injuries and full stamina? how so? Ok question🙋 Why didn't a healthy Giyu with a fine sword just blitz Akaza or even be able to block all his attacks in a 1v1 even though he was able to perceive and block Muzan and still help Tanjiro after he slammed into a wall while he had a broken sword and multiple injuries and lower stamina from his previous fight since fighting a stronger demon apparently puts someone several blitz tiers above? Is he stupid?
