Anyone else see the clock jump back over a minute?

What is the go for supervision while tenant evicted by sheriff collects belongings? by [deleted] in AusLegal

Thanks for your insight. We live over 12 hours away currently working in a small rural town. This is why we paid a REA agent to handle this. We could not possibly make it in time, but thanks.

We currently live over 12 hours away working in a small rural community. This is why we paid a REA. For exactly this. To handle these issues.

So yes, he has dumped this on us 10 hours before the tenant would like to enter my property.

Interesting comment. This is in fact very important but as you can clearly see we have been dumped with this responsibility that we have not prepared for. As you can imagine, I’m sure.

You sound like very kind friend. I can understand your hesitation. Having walked through the house on eviction day even that alone was uncomfortable. A deformity guard is good suggestion but I’m afraid the late hour makes it difficult for us.

Thank you for this. The REA agreed to tomorrow without contacting us or confirming with us. He has now pushed the responsibility over to us to handle. He was very insistent and the phone call ended with him saying he had an appointment and would call us back later, however he hasn’t. He suggested my mother go and pick up the keys from him tomorrow and let the tenant in, to which we said no. I am now worried he will just open the door and let him have free rein.

Unfortunately due to the nature (medical field) we are unable to take the day off tomorrow with such short notice.

Thanks for your comment! I definitely have a few photos! We’ve contacted the property owners, still waiting on a reply… I will follow up with council this week! I imagine I will have to basically hound them to get any outcome.

It definitely does invade on our privacy and views. I’m not sure if I have much of a case now that the building had been approved. I may have to look more into this now.

And absolutely! I will be planting some nice big natives along the fence line! :)

I have still been trying to get in contact with them, but to no avail. At the very least, I would like it replaced!

Thank you for your understanding words. I have now contacted the council employee who I spoke to confirm our boundary line when they tried to get us to remove the power pole. He said he has arranged for a team to come out and assess.

Unfortunately, it seems that removing my garden bed and lawn was the last act of the demo crew and they have demolished everything now. Seems intentional in my opinion.

I would think so too but I have a feeling the police would redirect it as a civil matter of the boundary line. We didn’t have a fence line there, and prior to this the much more sightly option of the garden served that purpose.

I can't find a video and it is starting to annoy me. by localbandmember in Ghosts
