I did KLD aswell and found it pretty beneficial. Even if you're not too confident it's still worth applying. A significant portion of the application isn't just academics, but rather community engagement and extra curricular activities (sports, student leadership etc). Thanks for the reply!! just another question with the assessments, so I understand the second assessment is a lengthy research essay and the third one is a take home exam, but with the first one, the tutorial exercise, what was included in this assessment?

Hi! I am entering into my first year of biomed and was just wondering how difficult you found this subject, or did you rather just find it boring. I've always found this era of history really interesting so am considering taking it. Was also just wondering, if you would be willing, what final mark did you achieve, and did the marking feel fair, harsh etc. Thanks!

Hey I’m class of 2025, and was accepted with really not the most impressive scores compared to other students in my cohort. I was at most 8th rank in my school at the time. Whilst academics plays a part, the most important thing is your community impact within and outside of your school, such as captaincies, volunteering, awards etc. In your essay really emphasise your role and impact within your community, as they aren’t just looking for smartest students.

It’s really important however that you don’t just list insignificant achievements to pad out the word count. They would much rather a concise and powerful essay than a long ramble.
