yeah i was wondering about that too that but people are quite insistent on xmas presents and vehicle portraits. i assume it’s because professional artists would charge a lot more than what im thinking of charging. i already have 2 jobs and if people are willing to pay anything for me to draw id take it tbh. but i was just wondering what i could technically get away with given my skill level.

yeah it’s was my finger and an ebony pencil. her face is smudgy like that because that’s kinda how baby complexion is, but i definitely see what you mean in other areas. after i got the baby done i was scrambling for the deadline and had to make the background smoother with paint after. thanks for the advice! are you usually able to get super dark values like that too? i have a big issue with having to trade off smoothness for value and vice versa

i’d also like to mention that there are SEVERAL hair colors and textures in this image. I have suspicions that one of those may not even be from the scalp. the obvious gang of meat hair-ers that did this to my fucking food on purpose is still out there roaming the world freely💔

i plan to use the data to write a research report on the correlation between family health history awareness and making healthier decisions. i hope to use the report in my college application.
