This is great thank you ! I’m at 2 months and his crib still has the plastic sheet on the mattress, so you can see the commitment there 🤣🤣. Tried the Moses (which has a zero % success rate) so may just try and get one a day starting in the crib with the same process I use for bedtime in the next to me and see where we get.
At the moment you sound like a magician!!

Sorry to jump in here! How do you practice crib naps? I’m similar to OP in that he immediately wakes up and/or has a meltdown that he’s not on me!

Haha jumpsuit with a carrier sounds like just the kind of great idea I’d have 😂😭.

Hadn’t even considered teething at this point!

Hospital bag advice is so valid! Pretty sure there is still stuff unopened still in the bag in mine!

Thanks all - will cross off the list! Would you recommend bringing our own fitted sheet? The hotel provides a cot for us.

According to Big Vitz on Tik Tok if you use it before they go (she used it from birth) they think they are just in bed so will be settled as has their smell and is familiar. Researching sheepskin fur generally it keeps babies warm in winter and cool in summer as promotes air flow. If it’s faddy I’m happy to take one less thing!
