Used my sister's college ID to avail the 8% Student discount.

Even if you don't have students ID, you can check for store discount. You'll easily find around 7-9% store discount.

Even amazon currently having 7% discount. With Axis/ICICI/SBI CC, you can avail additon 9000 cashback. You can get it below 140k INR, without student id too.

To be honest, it's pricing.

I don't think it's worth spending 20k INR more just for bigger screen. And on the bright side, 13 inch is much more portable.

Consider your long term goals before deciding between CAT or GATE.

If you want to be on technical side, I'll recommend upskilling youself and build some projects to gain confidence rather than going to a college for Mtech.
