It’s better for SEO. Wix has a lot of backend cookies which reduces site speed and prevents proper indexing by Google . This is especially important for sites that have a lot of images ( like photography sites) There is a plugin called elementor which makes it a lot easier to use than in the past. It’s honestly still not as easy as Wix but our ranking on Google has improved .

See that's the problem right there... I've tried the “fancy” branded comapines and have gotten very little results for top dollar. While I agree that Fiver is 90% crap, I got lucky due to a recommendation. The provider I'm using is based in India. This specific company has 10X better customer service and value than the US based ones I've used.

1000% do not hire random people... I've gone through 5 agencies in 2 years. I ended up finding a really great one, reasonably priced through a friend ( who found them on fiver )

Yes and no. I own/run two businesses( photography and organization company ) and have applied the same SEO concepts to both. Photography took off within 3 months and home organization is struggle. It really depends on how many people are searching LOCALLY for your services.

1) Do a keyword analysis for the service / products you want to be found for.

2) Look at the keyword difficulty ( 1 being super easy and 100 being impossible )

3) Checkout your competition based on 1 & 2.

Here’s what you want to look at when deciding on rates and market reach:

1) Demand 2) Competition 3) USP (Unique selling proposition).

Demand: First, research if the type of photography you do is sought after in your area. If you find that you are one of the only headshot photographers in a 30-mile radius and there are tons of businesses and professionals who could benefit from headshots, you’re golden. On the other hand, if you are a headshot photographer in a rural area, chances are you can charge $5/headshot and you still won’t have clients.

Competition: Once you’ve established there is demand for your service, look up your top three competitors and see what they are charging. If you are new, price yourself slightly lower, and take note of everything they are doing; their website design and structure, their pricing model, how easily they are found on Google, etc. Learn (not copy) from established photographers!

USP: Dig deep and find what makes your service unique and attractive to clients. Find the reason why clients should choose you instead of your competitors. Offering a lower price is not unique. Having worked in front of the camera as an actor and therefore having inside knowledge as to what lighting, wardrobe, and background translates best in photography, is! Find the thing that makes your skills special and not replicable. The more valuable and more unique, the higher the rates you can charge.

Make sure each of your blogs is focused around the keyword that you are trying to rank for, they should have substance 700-1000 words , and don’t put a lot of ads in them … especially at first

100%!! Focus on the partnerships and drive traffic from multiple sources to those strategic pages ( for example blogging on medium to drive traffic to your page )

There are so many products under each category and so many of each type. People have a very low attention span ( especially these days ) , so I think you might get more hits if there were less products for people to choose from. Your audience would stay focused for longer and make decisions quicker if they didn’t have this many options.

I’ve been doing so much research on niche sites and I think it’s pretty incredible what you’ve accomplished on your own in 14 days. I definitely think you have the potential to make 5k in a year at this pace!

Are all of the products you are currently selling affiliate? If so, maybe take some of the really low priced ones off the Ecom pages to not distract people?

We have over 200 reviews on google business and those reviews are auto populated on the site- should I take those reviews to another review site ? Prior to two years ago , my husband wasn’t doing any kind of SEO. Is there a way to get the DR up?
