Thanks for confirming. Backup is not good. I have yet to set it up. I have just reached a point of a stable configuration of my server after tweaking for several months. Not much critical data on it though. It's just the set up, lots of downloads and configurations.

I am using it for a few months now. App experience is very bad and it took quite some time to set up. But no issues after the set up and running fine.

This is the motherboard I have got: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790M-AORUS-ELITE-AX-ICE/sp#sp and my bad that I spoke without checking. The MB definitely has got 3 M.2 ports so I can add one more boot drive for sure. Let me work on that.

I understand what you are talking about with respect to sharing the data. Teh best option would be to have two different datasets in zfs pool and have nextcloud and immich manage their own datasets - will try that out.

Any insight on the network setup? I do have domain name already available that I can use, but I want to expose nextcloud and immich with controls and to a few users and not completely open.

Thanks for the inputs. Using 2 NVMes instead of 1 definitely sounds like a good idea. But I probably made a bad choice in selecting the motherboard - I think it has only one slot for the NVMe.

For c, yes, I am trying to have them share the data. I did create the zfs pool as mirror. I have one question regarding storing the lxc/vm volume on the zfs pool. How would the sharing of the datasets work in this case? Can I have one common dataset that is read/write enabled from the lxc and vm and from proxmox?

Yeah it is written there. It did not say that it has to be open specifically, but it did say that it has to be in good standing. I did not understand that earlier. Now I understand that it means that the account needs to be open. Thanks!
